JAMES, Allan Alexander With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Allan Alexander James, age 68, on Monday, October 3, 2016 at Hospice Renfrew. Beloved husband and soulmate of Colleen Mulvihill for 45 years. Known as Jesse, he was not only a gentleman but a gentle man. Only son of the late Alex James and Myrtle James (McCauley). Brother-in-law of Marilyn Campbell (Frank) and Keith Mulvihill (Sandi Perry). Predeceased by sisters Edna Beach (late Edwin), Marion Reid (late Jack), and Audrey Casselman (late Rex. K). Cherished uncle, great-uncle and great-great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Longtime friend of Dickson Kuehl. Visiting at McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munroe Ave. E., Renfrew on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Parish, Mount St. Patrick on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation to Hospice Renfrew, The Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation – Oncology, or a church of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
