Irene Nora Carmichael

Carmichael, Nora Irene- With sadden hearts we announce the passing of Nora Irene Carmichael (nee Edwards) on Saturday April 2, 2016. Nora was the beloved wife of the late Dennis Carmichael, in her 79th year. Loving mother of Denise Talon of Dickinson Texas, Bradley and wife Colleen Carmichael of Wahnapitae, and Janice and husband Jeffrey Mercier of Coldwater. Beloved daughter of the late Herbert and Ruby Edward. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Zachary and wife Chelsea Talon, Kasie and husband Javier Gutierrez, Kaleb, Caitlin, Cristin Talon, Hailey and Noah Mercier. Great Grandmother to Liliana Talon. Dear sister to Norman and wife Kay Edwards of Killaloe Lake, James and wife Ann Edwards of Calgary Alberta , George and wife Sandra Edwards of Englehart, Bertha and husband Claude Pellerin of Kitchener, Barb Edwards and partner Dan of Englehart, Mary and husband Richard Johnston of Kitchener, Barry Edwards of Terrese BC, predeceased by her brothersRaymond and Herbert Edwards. Dearly remembered by sister in laws Jean Edwards, Dianne and husband Allan Larivee of North Bay, brother in laws Barry and wife Mimi of Peterborough, Steve and wife Laura Carmichael of North Bay. Special thank you to long-time friends Debra and Bill Federchuk of Lively. Nora came to North Bay in 1957 and retired from the North Bay Nugget. A Celebration of Life will be held June 18, 2016 at Martyn Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke or charity of choice will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
