HURST, Susan Linda Passed away peacefully at home on Monday July 11, 2016 in her 66th year. Beloved Mom of Carrie (Al Ouellette) and Sheri (Graham Carruthers). Proud Bama/Ma of Jessica, Andrea, Andrew and Avery. Great grandmother of Aevah and Rylie. Sister of Sharon (Gary Lee), Stewart (Kelly) and the late Steven. Daughter of the late Roger and survived by her mother, June Dinner. Sue received her PSW certification in the late 90’s, after which she began her career with Southlake Village Residential until she retired in her 65th year. Sue loved her job and the friends she met when she became involved in the union. She was appointed Secretary of Cupe Local 2040 and then Chief Shop Steward. A Celebration of Life will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket, on Friday July 15 from 11am-1pm. Memorial donations may be made to the SickKids Foundation.
