Mary MacKay

Passed away peacefully at Southlake Village on Sunday, August 28, 2016 in her 95th year. Loving wife of the late Jack MacKay. Beloved mother of Georgina Liska (John). Proud grandmother of John and Ken, and great grandmother of Luke and Sophie. Sister of Ruth and the late Grace, Doris, Jean, Helen, Tom and Ed. Daughter of the late Mabel and George Anderson. Mary was very proud of her service in the Armed Forces. She was an avid lawn bowler, crocheter, and loved her needlepoint. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Southlake Village Visitation will be August 31, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. and September 1, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South in Newmarket. Services will be held September 1, 2016 at 11 a.m., followed by a reception. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Southlake Regional Health Center.
