GERDINA VANDERHEYDEN August 5, 1923 – June 16, 2016 Peacefully at Oakville’s Post Village Inn; Beloved wife of (pre-deceased Husband) Johannes VanderHeyden , Loving Mother of Tony (Patricia), John (Linda), Tina (John Barrington), (pre-deceased) Coby and Michael; Grandmother to Trevor, Natalie, John, Anne, Shane, Georgia , (pre-deceased) Barrett and Callum and Great Grandmother to Emily, Jasmine, Charlotte, Sophie, Lilah and Lucien. Born in Helmond, Holland, she emigrated with her husband and children in 1960 landing in London, Ontario where they set about raising their children and building a new and loving family life. We would like to thank the staff at Post Village Inn for their wonderful care and kindness to our Mom.
