Michael Brian Davis July 9th 1958~August 19th, 2016 It is with deep sadness, that Mike was finally able to get his wish to go home, on the wings of an Eagle, to be with his precious daughter, Amanda Marie. A Kitchenerite at heart, Mike leaves Melannie, Maggie, Harley and Fargo to remember him by, with too many good memories to count. He will be fondly remembered especially by his mother and step-father Gertrude & Bob Davis, aunts Donna Robichaud (Ray) & May Atkinson, brothers Stephen (Sandy), Phillip & Mark Davis, Tommy Petrie and sister Alma McNairn (Ray) as well by the Davis and Kennedy families of Toronto and New Waterford, Cape Breton Isle. Predeceased by his brother John. Although not in their lives, Mike loved his children, Jenny, Graham, Shane, Siobhan & Johnny. Mike was a rough and tumble guy, who wore his heart on his sleeve. If you needed help, Mike was there. A jokester with a hearty laugh and twinkling blue eyes, Mike was a loyal and loving friend to many. Always a defender of the underdog, a lover of country music and the great outdoors. Mike was often found helping with numerous charities. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467 from 3-5 p.m. with refreshments included. A Brews & BBQ will be held following the Celebration of Life at Friend Rick Couckuyt's, to raise a glass of cheer in memory of Mike, all are welcome to attend. Directions will be available. Private cremation has taken place. Donations towards St. John's Kitchen & St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church Food Support Program (c/o St. Vincent De Paul - St. Mary's Conference) will be graciously accepted, as well a Donation Box for Food & Toiletry items will be available.
