Seehawer, Joachim (Joe) Born in Poland on January 5, 1925. Joe slipped peacefully into the arms of our heavenly Father on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the age of 91. Maybe we cannot touch your hand, or see your smiling face, and maybe we cannot hear your voice, or feel your warm embrace, but there is something we will always have tucked safely in our hearts, our love for you. Loving father of Chris (Krista) and Sabine (Joe). Cherished Opa of Alex, Andy and Emilia "Emma". Beloved partner of Anne Ivanovic. Dear brother of Andy Seehawer. Predeceased by his wife Ursula. Joe's family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, immediately following the visitation at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery, followed by a reception at the funeral home.
