Robert “Bob” Secord Hunter of Kincardine, passed away with his family by his side at Victoria Hospital, London on Friday, September 9th, 2016 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Sheila (née Norman) of Kincardine. Dear father of Deborah Lajoie (Kevin Wood) of Trenton. Missed by grandchildren, Craig Lajoie of Trenton, Jenny Hunter (Mike Caswell) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Blake Hunter (Brandy Prentice) of Oshawa. Survived by his siblings Patricia Leach, Jane Rothwell (John) and Bill Hunter all of Kincardine. Fondly remembered by in-laws Robert Norman (Vera) of Woodstock, Isabel Craig and Mary Lou Tout (George) all of Kincardine as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Secord and Marion (née Sherman) Hunter and son Terry Hunter (2016). Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Judy Zarubick officiating. Interment Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kincardine Hospital Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.Obituary
