Margot Ruth Hanks of Kincardine, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 in her 78th year. Born in South Porcupine, Ontario on November 27th, 1938, to Max and Jessie (née Norman) MacKinnon. Beloved wife of Tom Hanks of Kincardine. Dear mother of Randall (Chris) Baker of Dornoch and Lizanne (Willie) Campbell of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia. Loving Gubba of Rachael, Becky, Ben, Tristan and Sarah Baker, Daniel, Jessica and Alex Ogilvie and Shona and Hamish Campbell. Missed by her 4 great-grandchildren and son-in-law Steve Ogilvie of Kincardine. Dear sister of Carole (“Q”) Egener of Goderich Predeceased by her parents, daughters Kim Ogilvie and Carole Hanks, son John Christopher Hanks and nephew Chaley Egener. A graveside service to celebrate Margot’s life will take place at the Tiverton Cemetery on Tuesday, October 25th, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with Reverend Kathy Fraser officiating. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
