Janette Ellen Morden (née Stoner) of Tiverton and formerly of Port Colborne passed away at South Bruce Health Centre, Kincardine on Saturday, September 10th, 2016 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of 68 years to Clinton Morden of Kincardine. Dear mother of Lanette Morden of Summerland, BC, Jennifer Knoll of Summerland, BC, Clint “Nick” Morden (Heather) of Welland, Kathy Bender (Bruce) of Welland, Jill Pearcey (Cecil) of Cambridge, Penny Arndt (Dale) of St. Thomas and Kristine Morden of Tiverton. Missed by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by her brother Donald “Skip” Stoner of Edmonton and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Jennie (née Clarke) Stoner, son-in-law Alex Yukain, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Janette’s life will take place in Port Colborne in the summer of 2017. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
