POLITI, Agnes (nee Scullion) Passed away peacefully at home in her 89th year, surrounded by her family on July 22, 2016. Predeceased by her loving husband Dr. Vincent Louis, son Michael, and father James. Beloved mother of Vincent (Kerry), Janet (Rick Berni), Philip (Betty Ann), Margaret (Tony), and Louis (Tracey). Proud grandmother of Carolyn, Laura, Benjamin, Jennifer, Louis, and Daniel. She will be missed by many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and life-long friends. Agnes was a member of the CWL for 60 years. Special thanks to the staff of VON (Cheryl and Chris), CCAC, Dr. Flett (Janet, RN), Dr. Beaufield (Bonnie, RN), Dr. Kronby, Dr. Aceti and his staff. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Avenue) on Sunday, July 24, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish (63 Highway 20 East) on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Villa or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
