It is with saddest regret that we announce the passing of Maria Chiodi (Di Nicolo) on Sunday September 11th, 2016. Born January 1st, 1937 in Penna Sant'Andrea (Teramo) Italy, she is the beloved wife of 59 years to husband Rizieri, and will be missed by her children Teresa, Piero and Enrico. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Leslie, grandchildren Ivano & wife Lillian, Maurizio, Melissa, the late Nicholas, Megan, Jacob, Tyler and Zachary and great grandchildren Elliot and Evrin. Maria’s light hearted and spirited nature was shared with her seven siblings Carmine (deceased), Angela & Antonio (deceased), Rocco & Lucia, Giannina & Gabriele, Guido (deceased), Valentino & Maria, Ludovico & Teresa and her nephews and nieces as well as relatives in Canada and Italy. The family wishes to express our heartfelt thanks to her beloved friends and caretakers. Resting at NEWEDIUK FUNERAL HOME, KIPLING CHAPEL, 2058 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke ON M9W 4K3, (North of Rexdale Blvd.), on Tuesday September 13th, 2016 from 2pm-4pm and 6:30pm-9pm. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from St. Benedict Catholic Church (2194 Kipling Avenue, Etobicoke, ON M9W 4K9) on Wednesday September 14th at 10am.
