Obituary
Markowsky, Pauline (95) (nee Rybchynski), peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at the Collingwood Nursing Home. Pauline was known for her garden, the 100 pairs of mittens she knit and donated to the Salvation Army every year, her gingersnaps, honey cookies, pyrohy, chelsea buns, and countless other culinary delights, her deep love for her husband, her dedication to her family and pets, and her commitment to knit the family together. Pauline will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and so many family members and friends. Pauline’s family thanks the Collingwood Nursing Home for their loving care and compassion. Donations may be made in Pauline’s name to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
