The family announces with great sadness her passing at Health Sciences North in Sudbury, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Cherished wife of Gilles Charbonneau. Daughter of Rosina (nee Kuehni) and Peter Holotuk both predeceased. Loving mother of Shelley Belcher (Curtis), Connie Chartrand (Robert) and Robin Charbonneau (Nancy). Cherished Nana of Jordan and Jacob Belcher, Joëlle Chartrand, and Cameron, Lyndsay and Madison Charbonneau. Sister of Lewis (Mary), Gordon (Emily) both predeceased, Edna Genoe (Fred deceased), Ann Pinkerton (Alvin) both deceased, Lillian Barton-Briggs (Harry deceased, Paul), Art deceased (Gene), Dan (Grace) both deceased, Allan (Florence), Adele Switzer (George), Steven (Vi). Rose will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rosalie fought a courageous battle with Cancer and Heart Disease for close to 14 years. She lived life to the fullest. She loved golf, playing cards and spending time in her flower garden. Her family and friends were a very high priority in her life. The family wishes to thank Rose’s family doctor Dr. Walter Kealy, as well as HSN doctors Noble, M. Brule and Benedict along with the Nursing staff who cared for her over the years. Thanks to the staff of the Dowling IDA Pharmacy. The family welcomes relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R.R. 15, Chelmsford, on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at the Church of St. Stephen the Martyr, 68 Sturgeon St., Dowling, at 11 a.m. Followed by a Celebration of Life at the Dowling Community Centre, 79 Main St. W., Dowling., where we welcome friends and family to share stories and tributes to Rose.
