HOWLETT, Sheila Winnifred – Passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington, Guelph with family by her side on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in her 85th year.
Sheila immigrated to Canada in 1963 from England.
Beloved wife of the late David Howlett (2007) and her first husband William Whittle; loving mother of Lynn (Gary) Neath, David (Gerrie) Whittle, and Janet (Duane) Schmitz. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Jacquelyn, Brittany, Vanessa, Kayla and great-grandmother of Dominic and Madelynn. Dear sister of Kevin (Christine) Brown and nephews Matthew, Gareth and grandniece Bebe Alice
Sheila was predeceased by brother Raymond Brown.
Sheila was a lifelong member of St. James’ Anglican Church and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Hespeler Branch #272.
Sheila’s family will welcome friends and relatives at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd, Cambridge, on Sunday, August 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with memorial service under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Hespeler Branch #272 at 6:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. James’ Anglican Church, 520 Ellis Road, Cambridge on Monday, August 8th at 11:30 am with Canon Linda Nixon officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Wellington, Guelph or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
