MARZEC, Patricia Blanche, age 82, of Cindy Avenue, Hespeler passed away on June 20, 2016 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital after a 4 year courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved mother of Brian Richards and his wife, Sarah Hamid of Chicago and cherished grandmother of Ashleigh Richards. She was predeceased by her husband and loving partner of 20 years, Mathew Marzec and her parents, Blanche and Archie Crerand. She will be missed by her sisters Dolores (Tim, deceased) Fitzpatrick, Yvonne (Gerry, deceased) Hilker, Donna (Jim, deceased) Donkers and Lorraine (Don) Prior. She was the dear aunt, great-aunt, and great-great aunt to many. Patricia enjoyed a very active social calendar that included golf, curling, bridge, the Red Hat Ladies, lunches with her sisters and traveling or cruising with many dear friends, all of whom will miss her love of life. Patricia’s family will welcome friends at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Thursday, June 23rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with vigil prayers at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 24th at 10 am at St. Mary of the Visitation Parish, 16 Cooper Street, Cambridge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lisaard House.
