MOYER, Michael James - Of Hespeler passed away peacefully on June 24, 2016 in his home surrounded by family and friends. Born June 2, 1966 in Baden-Baden West Germany to service parents Pete and Sharon Moyer (Watt). Mike and Kelly united in marriage August 9th, 2014 after finding true love. They blended their families to include Jamie, Quinn, Nathan and Blake. Mike shared a childhood life with siblings Chris Moyer (Linda), Kim Schmitz (Beaver), Kelly Lochhead (Rick). He will be proudly remembered by all the nieces and nephews and an innumerable number of friends. Mike's life was filled with many adventures. After his parents settled in Cambridge he was instrumental in helping his parents at Playfair Bowl. He followed in his Grandpa Jim's footsteps at being a "Jack of all Trades and Master of all". Once completing high school, Mike took his mastery of creation and started Historical Touch Carpentry and built a business to be proud of. Many can sit back and admire the talent that he had. He was a selfless mentor and friend to everyone that entered his life. His mind and hands where brilliant and smile would light up your heart. His commitment to faith grew strongest in 2011 taking him on a journey that would include enriching the lives of Haitian people through Mission to Haiti Canada. A organization that Mike became very passionate about. Please join us in the Celebration of Mike's life. The family will be hosting a visitation at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd, Hespeler, Cambridge on Monday, June 27th from 7-9 pm. and Tuesday, June 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 29th at 1 pm at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 127 Hespeler Rd, Cambridge, Ont. As expressions of sympathy, donations towards Mission to Haiti Canada in memory of Mike would be appreciated by the family and may be made through Lounsbury Funeral Home.
