<p> Passed away peacefully at the Sherwood Park Manor on Thursday, July 28, 2016, two days short of her 99th birthday. Phyllis Vivian Wesse Brown after having moved thirty four times (through seven countries) now has made her final move to Heaven to be united with her beloved husband Rev. C. Ross Brown and their youngest daughter, Jeannette.</p><p>Phyllis was born to John and Bertha (Rollins) Weese at Cordova Mines (near Marmora) on July 30, 1917. She married Ross in 1939 and was homemaker for most of her married life. She is survived by her children Carole Tanney (Lorne deceased), Philip Brown (Marlene), and Todd Brown (Jane); her grandchildren Wesley (Sonia), Lana (Graeme), Kara (Ray), Jennifer (Rob), Alison (Phil) and Steven (Robin); by six beautiful great granddaughters; Katelyn, Rebecca, Alyssa, Sophie, Emma and Lauryn and by two great grandsons Oakley and Harrison. Also survived by her sister-in-law Marion Rodberg. Phyllis was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Gordon and Hazeldean Weese; by sisters in law and their husbands; Dorothy and Bill White, Ruth and Alec Allison, Olive and Clayton Wilson, Bill Rodberg and Estella Wilson.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. A ceremony celebrating Phyllis` life will be held in the Chapel at 2 pm followed by a reception. Thence to Belleville Funeral Home, 68 North Front Street, Belleville where visitation will take place on Wednesday August 3rd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will take place at the Centennial Free Methodist Church, 135 Avondale Rd; Belleville on Thursday at 1 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Wesleyan Missions ( Ghana Endowment Fund) or World Hope Canada ( Ghana Girls Education Fund) will be gratefully acknowledged.
