Peacefully at the Alexandria Community Nursing Home on June 28, 2016, Ruth Joanne Deer, age 80. Loving mother of Robert Charlebois (Sonya). Dear sister of Edward Warner and Judith Deer. Predeceased by her parents Frederick Ernest Deer and Bessy Marjory Arnold; and siblings Bill Deer, Audrey Forsythe, James Deer and Arthur Deer. She will be missed by her many relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main Street South, Alexandria (613) 525-2772. As per Ruth’s wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. Her cremated remains will be interred with her parents in the Kemptville Public Cemetery. Memorial donations to Ontario Lung Association or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a memorial to Ruth, a tree will be planted in a memory woods.
