Sweeney, Victor Leslie - age 81, of Yarmouth, N.S. passed away on August 25th, 2016 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Gavelton on May 24th, 1935 he was the son of the late Alfred and Leota (Allen) Sweeney. Victor was in the Air Force most of his life and in his spare time he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his Brother Malcolm (Karen) Sweeney and Sister Barbara (Charles) Brittain. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Eleanor and brother Donald. At Family request there will be no funeral. Donations in memory may be made to Yarmouth Lions Club.
