Susan Fevens

FEVENS, Susan Marie – age 59, of Hebron, Yarmouth Co., N.S. passed away at home on July 27, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. Born in Yarmouth on August 13, 1956 she was a daughter to Ludger Surette and the late Anne Marie Surette (Saulnier). Susan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She was a devoted member of Chegoggin Baptist Church and loved her church family. Susan worked retail in her early working years before finishing her career at Maple Grove Education Center. In her spare time she loved to camp at Loomer’s Campers Haven and enjoyed working with her hands tole painting, knitting and crocheting. Susan was also a long time member of TOPS. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, William “Bill” Fevens; sons, Peter Fevens (Chris); Tim (Amy) Fevens; brothers, Greg Surette (Kim); Stephen Surette (Kim); sister, Carol (Robert) Lowe; and grandchildren, Elijah, Malachi, and Damaris. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. in Sweenys Funeral Home Chapel. A Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 2 P.M. from Chegoggin Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Parks officiating . Interment will follow in Chegoggin Cemetery.
