Kelly, Ruth- age 67. It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of our wonderful Mother, Nana, and sister at the age of 67 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Ruth was born on February 9th, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Lillian Kelly. She was predeceased by her son Douglas Mallett in 2001. Ruth is survived by her daughter Kim Mallett (Peter McCall), her son Michael Mallett, her wonderful grandchildren Richard Mallett, Sandra Mallett, William McCall, Jessie Mallett and Connor Mallett all of Yarmouth N.S. Ruth is also survived by her brother Orland (Lois) Kelly of Nellie Lake, ON. Her partner Wayne Saulnier of Yarmouth, N.S., her niece Desti (Brent) Armitage of Timmins, ON. And her nephew Trent Kelly (Amy Sycamore) of Missisauga, ON. Ruth was always a wonderful person who loved spending time camping with her children and grandchildren as well as enjoying life to the fullest with her family and friends. Following Ruth’s wishes a cremation and a private family gathering will take place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth.
