RICHARDSON, Ross St. Clair – age 78 of Yarmouth, passed away on August 17, 2016 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth on October 23, 1937 he was a son of the late Donald and Stella (Longmire) Richardson. Ross was a Heavy equipment operator and woodsman for most of his working career. In his spare time he was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish and also enjoyed repairing and working on lawn mowers. He also loved to play crib and watching ball games. He is survived by his second wife, Shirley Richardson, Yarmouth; daughters, Twila (Darren), Carleton; Tina (Charles) Killam, Brooklyn; Crystal (Dwayne) Pleasant Lake; sons, Cecil (Simone) Woodvale; Donald (Sylvia), Yarmouth; Vaughan, St John, N.B.; brothers, Robert (Louise) Oshawa ON; Fred (Mabel), Yarmouth; sister, Diane (Percy) Ellis, Carleton; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Besides his parents Ross was predeceased by his first wife, Hope; grandson, Matt Porter; brother, Clayton; sister, Ilene. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside service will be Monday, August 22, 2016 at 2 P.M. from Carleton Cemetery with Deacon Stephen Bourque officiating. Interment will follow. Family flowers only please.
