GOODWIN, Donald George – age 70, of Yarmouth Nova Scotia, passed away on June 17, 2016 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Central Argyle on December 31, 1944 he was a son of the late George and Agnes (Nickerson) Goodwin. Donald worked in Ontario for some years and then did labour and worked at a fish plant. In his spare time he enjoyed car racing and frequented Tim Horton’s for coffee and conversation. He is survived by his sister, Loretta (Joseph) Lahey, Herring Cove; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Paul and David. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Argyle. Donations in memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
