BANGAY, Anna Mae- age 77, of Mountainview Seniors Appartments in Yarmouth., N.S. passed away on June 20, 2016 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Yarmouth on October 18, 1938 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Zella Crowell. Anna worked at the Grand Hotel as well as a skating arena and curling club in Germany. Anna was an avid volunteer and was the patient service coordinator for the M.S. Society. She was a very hard worker who also enjoyed cooking and babysat countless people as well as tended the elderly. She is survived by her sons; Smokey Bangay (Brampton, Ont.), Edward Bangay, (Shediac, N.B.) and Robert Bangay, (Vancouver. B.C.), Sisters; Mary Jacquard, (Yarmouth), Patsy Doucette, (Tusket) and Betty as well as brother Tom Crowell, (Halifax) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nephews and nieces. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers Edward and Bobby. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral service will be held at Kemptville United Baptist Church June 23rd, 2016 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rick Warner officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Kemptville .
