Anita Wells

WELLS Anita Burdette – age 95 of Forest Glen/Bridgewater, passed away peacefully at Rosedale Home for Special Care in New Germany on July 12, 2016. Born in Forest Glen she was the daughter of the late Purney and Christina (Bullerwell) Hanf. Anita lived most of her life in Forest Glen where she enjoyed her flower gardens and view of the lake. She always enjoyed a good game of cards especially “63”, a pie sale, and bluegrass music. She is survived by her children, Susan, Bridgewater; Paul (Kathleen) Wells, Forest Glen; Jack (Martha) Wells, Chatham ON; Patsy (Ron) Carnaham, Merlin ON; grandchildren, Ann, Beth, Christina, Kari, Marjie, Matthew, Sean; great grandchildren, Briar, Jason, Jayden, Natalie, Owen, Riley, Sarah; sister in law, Kay Hanf. Besides her parents Anita was predeceased by her husband James in 1992; grandson, Jason in 1996; granddaughter, Heather in infancy; brothers, Iman Hanf and Percy Hanf. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A graveside service will be held Tuesday July 19, 2016 at 2 P.M. from Forest Glen Cemetery with Deacon Stephen Bourque officiating. A celebration of Anita’s life will follow at the Forest Glen Community Center. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Forest Glen Community Fund.
