Rose "Rosie" Smith Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, February 5th, 2016 Rose (Rosie) Smith of Spaniard's Bay, aged 80 years. Predeceased by husband, Lloyd; beloved son, Gerald; and infant sister, Lisa. Left to mourn this beautiful lady are three daughters: Donna (Bob) Geach, Sharlene (Larry) McCarthy and Claudine (Mark) Mazurek; one daughter-in-law, Bonnie; eight grandchildren: Keri, Jeremy, Jared, Josh, Nicholas, Samantha, Zachary and Sydney; and four great-grandchildren: Cameron, Jaidyn, Addison, and Gavin. Rosie will also be greatly missed by her two sisters: Goldie Noseworthy and Ethel Trudeau; sisters-in-law Phoebe, Nina and Jessie; brother-in-law Walt; best friend Effie Vokey; and her furry babies Pumpkin and Brandy; along with a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Lynch's Funeral Home, Spaniard's Bay. Visitation on Tuesday, Feb. 9th from 12 noon to 9 pm. Funeral service will take place at Lynch's Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb 10th at 1 pm. Inurnment will follow at the Anglican Cemetary, Bishop's Cove Shore Road. No flowers by request. Donations in her memory may be mailed directly to, Beagle Paws. P.O.Box, 28164 ,St.John's, NL.
