It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved dad, James Cook, Monday, August 22, 2016, at the Southeast Personal Care Home, Winnipeg, Manitoba, at the age of 58 years. Dad was born in The Pas, Manitoba, Sunday, February 2, 1958 to Stanley and Josephine Cook. Dad in his life time was a son, father, grandpa, uncle, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, cousin and friend. Our dad was united in marriage to our mom, Viola Sanderson, October 4, 1980. Together they raised 3 children; Steven James (Angie), Monica Rae (Vone), Adrienne Josephine (Kevin). Through the connection they have their grandchildren, John James, Allayna, Sydney, Brooklyn, Ryan, Jacob and Naomi. Dad is survived by his children Steven, Monica, Adrienne and Shayla; siblings Ella, Rolland, Allan, Clara, Gary and Flora; in-laws Roy, Cecil (Linda), Denise, Allan, and Janet (Sherwin). Dad was predeceased by his parents Stanley and Josephine Cook; brother Ken; sister Sara; former in-laws John and Hazel Sanderson; sister-in-law Pauline; brother-in-law Harry; daughter Natashia. Rest now dad, you’ll watch over us and console us in our grief. It is hard to say goodbye.
