Sigfried "Sig" Kruger

SIGFRIED LEOPOLD KRUGER July 28, 1950 – July 15, 2016 It is with great sadness we announce that Sig Kruger passed away on July 15, 2016, at his home in Olds, AB, at the age of 65. Sig was born in Goslar, West Germany on July 28, 1950, and came to Canada in 1951, where he spent his life in the Eagle Hill, Sundre and Olds areas. He enjoyed shuffleboard, curling and working as Sig’s Appliance and Town & Country Appliance. He was a happy-go-lucky guy who enjoyed the simple things. Closest to his heart were his kids and grandkids. He was so proud of them all and had his own special nickname for each one. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. He is survived by his children Shawna (Chris) Cymbalisty, Kevin Ziegler and Tanya Rosenbargo; grandchildren Kayla (Jesse) Cymbalisty, Kyle (Betty) Cymbalisty, Tia Olsen, Ty Rosenbargo and Karlee Rosenbargo; great-grandchildren Jaxon, Chloe and Sydney; brothers Otto (Marlene) Polei and Arnold (Jane) Kruger; special friend Donna Kruger, as well as many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Elli and Richard Kruger. In keeping with Sig’s wishes, no public service will be held. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. We thank everyone for keeping us in your thoughts and for your support during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to the charity of your choice.
