On July 29, 2016, Mr. William “Bill” Cowley of Barrhead, AB, formerly of Greencourt, AB passed away at the age of 90 years. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Eileen; children, Edwin (Wanda) Cowley of Redwater, AB, Tom (Leslie) Cowley of Mayerthorpe, AB and Susan (Don) Dingman of Morinville, AB; daughter-in-law, Ester Cowley of Mayerthorpe; grandchildren, Louise (Lonnie), Diana (Glen), Trevor (Erin), Sherry (Scott), Shauna (Tim), Rae (Jason), Matt (Lisa), Heather (Aaron), Karen (Danny), Marina (Bryan), Tracy (Nathan) and Kim (Matt); and great-grandchildren, Tré, Logan, Brandon, Brianna, Megan, Ella, Adelaine, Cooper, Lindsay, Connor, Jono, Abby, Austin, Jade, Brooklyn, Brayden, Keenen and Blake. Predeceased by son, Wayne; son-in-law, Terry; and great-granddaughter, Makenzie. Thank you to the doctors and staff of the Barrhead Health Care Centre for the care and courtesy shown to Bill and the family. Memorial Service Wednesday, August 3 at 1:00 p.m. at the Barrhead Senior Citizens Drop In Centre, 5437 – 49 Street, Barrhead, AB with Reverend Sharon Foster officiating.
