Nettie Dowhaniuk

It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of Nettie Dowhaniuk of Smoky Lake on August 27, 2016 at the age of 78 years. Nettie is survived by her two daughters, Delores (Dan) of Smoky Lake and Doreen (Wayne) of Edson; two sons, Garry (Janice) of Redwater and Barry (Carole) of Smoky Lake; daughter-in-law, Susan of Smoky Lake; fifteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Nick; son, Wayne; parents, Mike and Eva Achtemichuk; brothers, Jim, Nick and Peter; and sisters, Annie and Mary. Thank you to the doctors and staff of the Westlock Health Care Centre and Bar-V-Nook Lodge, Smoky Lake. Funeral Service Tuesday, September 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the Warspite Community Hall, Warspite, AB with Very Reverend Gerasim Power officiating. Interment in Sts. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church Cemetery (Chahor), Range Road 183 and Township Road 602, Barich, AB.
