It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Anna Sudyk. We lost our loving Mom, Baba and Babcia whom we will always cherish. Anna will forever be remembered by her children, Lillie (Mervin) Checknita, Bill (Diana) Sudyk, Walter (Susan-Jane) Sudyk, and Mary (Wayne) Letawsky; grandchildren, Larry (Susan), Christina (Darren), David (Doreen), Chris (Shauna), Jason (Adele), Ousana, Laura-Jane (Derek), Sarah-Jane (Tim), Peter (Michelle), Veronica and Billy; great-grandchildren, Haley, Sydney, Tristan, Jenna, Amanda, Annabelle, Kalyna, Charley, Aspen, Cole, Amber, Alex, Jonah, Kayla, Nathan, Carter, Rachel, Rebecca, Berg and Case; brother, Dr. Raymond Hulyk (Gloria), and sister-in-law, Olga Hulyk. Predeceased by her husband, Peter; parents, Walter and Christina Hulyk; brothers, Bill and Roman; sister, Lillian, and infant sister, Mary. Anna worked hard all her life on the family farm. She was an avid gardener, and an excellent cook; no one ever left her house hungry. Her faith guided her throughout her life. Anna's life was centered on her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She gently and gracefully taught us all so much and made us all better people. We will hold you close within our hearts and here you will remain to walk with us throughout our lives. Until we meet again. Divine Liturgy Saturday, October 29 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 10825 – 97 Street. Cathedral Clergy officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
