It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Aleksandra Lis on July 12, 2016 at the age of 14 years. Aleksandra will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her parents, Chester and Renata; aunt Dorota; grandmother, Gabriela; and numerous extended family in Edmonton and Poland; as well as the many friends she made and lives she touched with her precious smile and beautiful heart. Aleks’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of the teachers and staff at St. Gabriel and St. Mark schools, as well as the doctors, nurses and staff at the Stollery Children's Hospital, Dr. Szymanski and Dr. Malinowska, who lovingly cared for Aleks during the past many years of her life. A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Aleksandra's life will be held Saturday, July 23 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 11485 - 106 Street, Edmonton with interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
