Newnam, James B. III, 65, of Mt. Washington, KY, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Baptist Health. He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Evelyn Newnam Jr., and siblings, Mike Newnam and Ramona King. He is survived by three sons, James Newnam IV, Charles LeCompte, and Jerry James "J.J." Newnam; two daughters, Rhonda Newnam and Angela Grisby; one sister, Sheila McBride; two stepbrothers, Dale and Timmy Bogard; along with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Memorial gifts in his memory may be made to Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
