Lisa K. Terry, 51, of Lone Jack, MO passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. A visitation will be held from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 17th at Speaks Suburban Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18th at the chapel. Burial will be at Lone Jack Cemetery. Lisa was born July 22, 1962 in Kansas City, MO. She was raised in Independence, attending William Chrisman and graduating Fort Osage High School. Lisa worked as an Optician for Sears Optical for over 20 years. She enjoyed reading, travel, and cooking. Lisa is remembered for the love she gave her family, especially grandchildren. She is loved and will be missed. Lisa is survived by husband of 10 years, John W. “Bill” Terry, of the home; son, Jimmy Stevenson of Independence, MO; son, Jared Stevenson of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Jessica Birk and husband Jim of Buckner, MO; stepdaughter, Jenny Wallace and fiancé K.C. of Lone Jack, MO; stepson, Michael Terry and wife Stacy of Lone Jack, MO; grandchildren Madelyn and Jimmy Birk; step grandchildren, Megan and Ryan Wallace and Brett and Brooke Terry; brother, Jeff Furney; brother, Mike Furney and wife Paula; sister, Stacey Elliott; brother, Shawn Buntin and her mother, Billie J. (McDonald) Buntin; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss her. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Wayne and Peggy Russell.
