Elizabeth Mlodik age 92, of Rosholt passed away Friday evening November 1, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday November 5, 2013 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Rosholt. Rev. Gregory Michaud will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends and family will gather to share memories on Monday evening from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Shuda Funeral Chapel - Stevens Point. A general rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM at the funeral chapel. Visitation will also take place on Tuesday from 9:00 - 10:45 AM at the church. The St. Adalbert Ladies Rosary Society of which Elizabeth is a member, will pray a rosary for her in the church at 10:30 Tuesday morning. A memorial in lieu of flowers will be established in her memory. Elizabeth was born November 26, 1920 in the Town of Alban, the daughter of John Sr and Katherine (Goskowicz) Kulas. She attended St. Adalbert Schools. Elizabeth married Leo J. Mlodik on November 8, 1941 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church. The couple settled in the Rosholt area and raised their family. She enjoyed baking, sewing, and gardening. Elizabeth is survived by seven children: her daughter Rose Ann Mlodik, Wittenberg. Six sons: Ralph (Barbara), Rosholt; Frank, Iola; John (Anna), Greenfield; Leonard (Barbara), Rosholt; Dennis (Anna), Rosholt; Michael (Annette) Mlodzikowski, Wittenberg. 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. 10 brothers and sisters: Harry (Evelyn) Kulas, Agnes Worzalla, Margaret Wierzba, Anna Kizewski, Caroline (Alvin) Bronk, Angeline Morton, John (Corine) Kulas, Edward Kulas, Mary Ann (Robert) Riley, Barbara (Frank) Konkol. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leo in 1997, 3 brothers and 1 great granddaughter. The Mlodik brothers express their appreciation to their sister, Rose Ann, for the loving care given their Mother. The family wishes to thank the Marshfield Clinic Oncology Department at St. Michaels Hospital and Ministry Home Care Hospice for their kindness, and Rev. Marcin Mankowski and Rev. Gregory Michaud for their home care visits and prayers.
