Mrs. Ilene Street Rasnake, age 82, of the Big A Mountain section of Honaker, Virginia, passed away Friday (August 2, 2013). Born July 9, 1931 in Buchanan County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late John W. and Ollie E. Street. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of Rowe Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Rasnake; special companion, Bees Baldwin; two brothers, Junior C. Street and Lawrence Street and two sisters, Hazel Street and Annabell Eaton. Survivors include five daughters, Eva Duncan of Belfast, Virginia, Brenda Davis of Richlands, Virginia, Cynthia Rasnake and Lisa Israel both of Greenville, Tennessee and Felicia Duty of Bristol, Virginia; fourteen grandchildren, Wendy Woodard, Andrew Duncan, Shawn Davis, Amanda Davis, Jessica Asbury, John Northern, James Cook, Cody Israel, Stephanie Israel, Jerrica Skeens, Ryan Duty, Christy McCowan, Michael Potter and Shaun Potter; fourteen great-grandchildren, Connor Woodard, Cody Woodard, Payton Duncan, Trevor Duncan, Joshua McCowan, Makayla McCowan, Isabella Hall, Talan Hall, Kaliah Asbury, Bryar Asbury, Abigail Skeens, Jaxton Northern, Isabella Davis, Emma Davis, Alexis Potter and Erin Potter; two sisters, Beulah Keen McGlothlin and Betty Woodward; special nieces, Bonnie Davis and Brenda Vance and several additional nieces and nephews also survive. The Family would like to extend a very special thank you to Samantha, Donna and the staff of Home Nursing Company of Lebanon, Virginia. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Giles Ball officiating. Interment will follow in the Street Cemetery in Rowe, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Rick Christian, Johnny Potter, Tim Israel, Jeff Woodward, Jim Eaton, Andrew Duncan, Todd Asbury, Cody Israel, John Northern and James Cook. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Woodward, Bill Vance, Harold Street, Rondall Street and Kester Street.
