Lauri Luzzi

Lauri (Murray) Luzzi, beloved wife of Egidio “Cheech” Luzzi, of Wicklow Rd., Westerly, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the age of 51. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of Jane S. Murray of Woonsocket and the late James P. Murray, Jr. Lauri was the Office Manager for Northeast Family Martial Arts for many years. She attended Manhattenville College in New York and graduated from URI in 1984 with a degree in Psychology. She enjoyed traveling, shopping and going to the beach. Lauri loved to cook and entertain, spending time with family and making others happy. In addition to her husband and mother, Lauri will be sadly missed by her children, Nicholas R. Cillino and Matthew J. Cillino, both of Westerly; a stepson Daniel J. Luzzi of Westerly and a stepdaughter Andrea M. Luzzi of New York City and a brother, Michael J. Murray of Woonsocket. Lauri also leaves behind a large extended family and many dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly on Monday at 10am. There is no procession from the funeral home to the church. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly.
