DONEGANI John Lewis Donegani passed away on June 8, 2013 at the age of 81 years. He was born June 20, 1931 in Olds and spent his entire life in the Samis district north of Olds. In his younger years, John was a motorbike enthusiast and was one of the first to buy a motorbike from Turple Bros. when they had a small shop on their farm east of Olds. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Jean; daughter Gwendy of Clive and son Cecil (Karen) of Olds. He was predeceased by his parents Tom and Sarah, sister Sylvia of Grande Prairie and brother Ellis of Linden. In keeping with John’s wishes no formal funeral service will be held. A come & go tea was held at the Hillcrest Community Hall on Thursday June 13, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to the Olds Hospital Acute Care.
