BUKTAW, Abbie Jane -

(April 1, 1960 - June 4, 2013)

It is with deep sadness we share that our dear Abbie Jane Buktaw has succumbed to catastrophic injuries and has passed. While husband Victor, family and friends are consumed by deep grief at such a sudden passing, there is still such gratitude for the friend, wife, daughter, champion, loving presence filled with thoughtfulness and kindness in the large and small moments of life. The magical story teller who kept her cousins in suspense with each word in childhood, and adult friends and family in stitches with her fresh and funny perspectives. The famous peanut butter cookies and cheesecake brownies that were filled with love. The powerful foundation of unconditional support for all our efforts. The remarkable shoulder to lean on and provider of the most amazing and insightful advice...will be missed beyond measure. Abbie’s last wishes were to donate her organs and now may lives are being saved, and we believe even nourished with the richness of this special being. Abbie, leaves behind her loving husband Victor Buktaw and Victor’s brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Her loving sister Jennifer M McLean, parents Willa and Bob Mclean and extended family of tight nit uncles, aunts and cousins. Please join us in remembering a special soul that touched so many.
