DRACUT, MA- Lynda Ann Dockray, 69, died, Thursday, May 23rd, at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of Albert L. Hoyt Jr. Lynda was born in Boston, MA on October 29, 1943, a daughter of the late Katherine (Wiseman) and Joseph Dockray. She was educated in Boston and a graduate of Boston High School. For many years, Lynda worked as a nurse for St. Joseph’s Hospital in the maternity ward, until the hospitals closing. She then later worked at the Princeton House until her retirement. Lynda’s greatest joy came from her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved so much. Along with her husband, Lynda is survived and will be deeply missed by her 4 sons, John Grubis of Rindge, NH, James Grubis of Manchester, NH, Michael Powers and his wife Mary Ann of Donna,TX and Gerald T. Gannon Jr. and his wife Cynthia of Merrimack, NH; 8 grandchildren, Angelia, Kayla, Bobby, Samantha, Sydney, Jayme, Bryan and Tyler. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Patches and her dog, Tiki. ARRANGEMENTS: At Lynda’s request there are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass which will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Chelmsford at 11 a.m. on WEDNESDAY, May 29th. Burial will take place at a later date.
