Laurie Reed, 59, of Hemet, CA passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013, at her home surrounded by her loving family in Hemet, CA. Born Monday, February 22, 1954 in South Milwaukee, WI; she was the daughter of Anne Walker and the late Jerome Francis. In her professional career, she worked in the beverage industry for seven years. She was a Production Scheduler for Cott Beverages, a private label beverage manufacturing company, for two years. She enjoyed her free time painting, drawing, and reading Stephen King books. Every Saturday, the family would come together for a movie night. Her favorite films were those of Disney and Pixar. She also enjoyed an eclectic group of music from the Eagles to Pink Floyd, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and the Beatles. Laurie was a beautiful, well-rounded woman who loved living life and spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Brad Reed; daughters, Heather Smith and Rachael Johnson; brothers, Tom Saksefski and John Saksefski; sisters, Andrea Crabtree, Monica Strohl, and Mary Sutton; grandchildren, Allison Johnson, Cameron Johnson, and Ayden Granados; and beloved dogs, Annie, Simon, and Baby. Memorial contributions may be made in Laurie's name to the Hospice of the Valleys.
