Nancy J. Long-Simpson age 55 of Seaside Park, NJ died Saturday June 14, 2008 at Community Medical Center, Toms River.? Born in Newark, NJ, she was a lifelong resident of Seaside Park.? Nancy worked at the Seaside Heights Pre School and was a member of St. Catharine RC Church, Seaside Park.? She was an avid New York Giant and NASCAR fan who loved crabbing and going to the beach.?? Nancy was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt who will be missed very dearly.? Predeceased by her father Edward Long.? Surviving are 2 sons Patrick Simpson of Conn. and Daniel Simpson of Ohio; her mother Lorraine Long (nee Blake) of Seaside Park; 2 sisters Maureen Catapano of Hazlet, NJ and Kellie Genova of Pittsburgh, PA; 4 brothers Edward Long of Island Heights, Thomas Long of Lakewood, NJ, Michael Long of Toms River and Patrick Long of Hemet, CA; a grandchild Rowen.?? Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.? The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 809 Central Ave., Seaside Park, NJ.? Committal will be private.?
