Frank J. Gonzalez, Sr. South Plainfield, NJ - Frank J. Gonzalez, Sr., 77, died peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2012 at his residence. Born in Plainfield, he has been a lifelong resident of South Plainfield. He was the proud owner of Marcel & Son Barber Shop in Iselin. Frank was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church and the B.P.O of Elks #2298 both of South Plainfield as well as belonging to the National Rifle Association. He is predeceased by his parents and his two brothers; Joseph and Cono Gonzalez. Frank is survived by his wife of fifty-six years Shirley (Stein) Gonzalez, their children; Frank J. Gonzalez, Jr. and his wife Donna of Belvidere, Dennis of South Plainfield and David and his wife Emieco of Gregory, MI, his sister Marcella Augusto of Edison and by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM in the McCriskin-Gustafson Home for Funerals, 2425 Plainfield Avenue, South Plainfield, NJ 07080 with a religious service beginning at 3:30 PM.Obituary
