Elbert Eugene Moore, 65, of Rutherfordton passed away Tuesday, October 09, 2012 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. He was born in Buncombe County, NC to the late George Leroy Moore and Effie Florence Wilson Moore. He was a stone mason in residential construction and was a former employee of Reeves Brothers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Moore. Left to cherish his memory are brothers; Dan, Lewis, Frank, and Maverick Moore all of Polk County, NC and sisters Diane Williams of Rutherfordton and Joann Powell of Cherryville, NC, and child of his heart Tosha Kegley of Rutherfordton. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, October 13 with the Rev. Todd Lawter and Rev. Darrell Pruette officiating.
