Gulf Breeze, Fl. - Tuesday, August 28, 2012, the Lord saw our beloved dad, and friend fight his last battle. The battle was over and the Lord took him in His loving arms and carried him to his new home.

We invite you to share in the celebration of his life. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 5, 2012, at the Aviation Memorial Chapel 9:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. with a service to follow at 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and graveside 12:30 p.m. – 1 p.m.

Kenneth Ray was born to Beatrice LaVonne Little and Reacie Mac Kennedy of Magee, Mississippi. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and two younger sisters, Mamie Jeanette Weimer and Vonnie Sue Dickerson.

He is survived by his children: Kathy (Larry) Schultz, Kenneth Ray Kennedy Jr. (Linda), Charles Keith Kennedy, Karen Kennedy Miller, James (Donna) Kennedy, Bonnie Kennedy (Robert) Burt, David Reese (Lacey) Kennedy, Pam Kennedy (John-Mark) Casanave, and Patti Kennedy (Scott) Castleberry. Eight grandchildren: Christopher Belote, Joy Miller Rotz, Mattie Rose Kennedy, Stephen E Miller, Karlene Ray Kennedy, Emily Grace Kennedy, William James Burt, and Bailee Elizabeth Burt and one great-grandchild Ethan Henry Rotz.

Four siblings: Ira Joe Kennedy, Bobby Glenn Kennedy, Charles Richard Kennedy, and Phyllis Nell Kimball.


In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kenneth Ray's honor to your preferred charity.
