Morris Pruett

Morris Pruett, 62, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday December 11, 2011 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. Born February 2, 1949 to the late Howard and Kizzie Mae Pruett, he was a lifelong resident of Dawsonville. Mr. Pruett retired as a construction coordinator with Georgia Power after 41 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing golf and possessed a special love for travel. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Patricia Pruett, Dawsonville; sons and daughters in law, Scott and Venus Pruett, Dawsonville, Adam and Kelly Pruett, Dawsonville; sisters and brothers in law, Doris Wright, Ellijay, Lois and Larry Byers, Dahlonega, Judy Truelove, Dawsonville, Ellen and Andy Adams, Dawsonville; grandchildren, Erin Pruett, Ryane Pruett, Hannah Pruett, Peyton Pruett, Khloe Pruett; and a great grandson, Evan Anderson. Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 14, 2011 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Clyde Boling and Rev. David Smith will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dawsonville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2 until 9 at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.beardenfuneralhome.com.
