Glenn Rinard Obituary

Glenn Rinard, 69, a lifelong resident of Clarkston, passed away Friday, March 24, 2006, at Tri-State Memorial Hospital in Clarkston. Glenn was born to Oran E. and Dorothy A Parkins Rinard on Nov. 16, 1936, in Lewiston. He attended schools in Clarkston and graduated from Clarkston High School in 1954. Glenn married Patricia L. Lafrenz on Nov. 17, 1954, in Lewiston. Having worked as a truck driver in road construction, he retired from Poe Asphalt in 1995 after many years transporting equipment. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, working in his shop and in the yard. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Patt; sons Lance and wife Pam, Larry and wife Chris, and Jeff; daughters Kathy and husband Roger Ainsworth, Keri and husband Mark Fleming; grandchildren Rob, Jake, Tim, Tiffany, John, Stacy, Alisa, Anette, Marc, J.J., Keely, Josh, Scott, Kelsey, Frank and Susan; and seven great-grandchildren; mother Dorothy Rinard; sisters Pam and husband Dick Robertson, and Mary; brother Joe; numerous nieces and nephews. Glenn was preceded in death by his father Oran Rinard and sister Alice Alboucq. The family would like to thank Dr. Minick and the staff at Tri-State Memorial Hospital for their kindness and care during his illness. In respect of Glenn's wishes, there will be no memorial service. Instead, friends and family are invited to an informal gathering to celebrate his life. Please come share your memories with us over lunch at 1 p.m. Tuesday at New Bridges Community Church, 2102 Eighth St. in Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Glenn's memory may be made to Tri-State Hospital Foundation at P.O. Box 636, Clarkston, WA 99403.
