Everett Tucker

Mr. Everett Lynn Tucker, resident of the Woodruff County area, died on Monday, February 13, 2012 at White County Medical Center in Searcy. He was 53 years of age. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening with funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday at Thompson-Wilson Funeral Home in McCrory with their directors in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Whitehall Cemetery. Mr. Tucker was born in Brinkley, Arkansas on September 20, 1958 to Harold Everett and Pauline Fraze Tucker. He attended McCrory schools and was married to the former Debra Lesley who survives. Mr. Tucker worked in the farming and agriculture business all of his life and loved anything outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, loved gardening and most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Tucker was very active during his lifetime until cancer came into his life. He lost the battle with cancer, but he ultimately won the war. He will be missed by his community, church family, friends and his wonderful family. Survivors include his wife Debra of the home, two sons: Everett Tucker and his wife Wendy of Hunter and Tyler Barber of McCrory, one daughter, Trinity Barber of McCrory, two brothers; Tommy Tucker and wife Stella of Brinkley and Larry Tucker and Versie of Mammoth Springs, MO., one sister: Kathy Wallace of Brinkley, two grandchildren; Hunter Tucker and Alyce Medford of Hunter. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Clifton Tucker. Pallbearers were Tino Hedden, Teddy Williams, Kevin Ferrell, Mike Medford, Billy Holmes, and Kenny Cook. Honorary pallbearers were Rusty, David, Hunter and Randy Tucker, Jason Clemons, Mike Kimbrell, Kevin Wallace and Tyler Barber.
