A. Barbara Fogelsanger, 80, of Shippensburg, died on the evening of Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at home. She was born on June 18, 1931, in Millerstown, PA, a daughter of the late Wesley and Ellen Mangle Kauffman. Barbara was a homemaker and dairy farmer throughout her life. She was a longtime member of the Faith Tabernacle Church, Shippensburg. She was also an excellent cook and loved to garden. Barbara is survived by two sons, Gerald A. (Kim) Fogelsanger and Curtiss E. (Christine) Fogelsanger, both of Shippensburg; one daughter, Loretta E. (Jeffrey) Deimler of Enola; one sister, Louise Helm of Shippensburg; two daughters-in-law, Shelva Fogelsanger of Newburg and Crystal Fogelsanger of Newville; thirty-one grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Alfred Fogelsanger, who died on May 16, 1979; two sons, William D. and Andrew F. Fogelsanger; two grandchildren, Alfred C. and Cheyenne R. Deimler; two sisters, Ruth Page and Elsie Hall; and two brothers, Gideon and Park Kauffman. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2012, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. Pastor Roland G. Foster will officiate. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Shippensburg. Viewing will be Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
